The Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) works to ensure that the health and population policies of international institutions promote women's reproductive and sexual health. CHANGE advocates for increased funding of voluntary family planning programs and services, exposes the detrimental effects of funding restrictions through face-to-face meetings between policy makers and women from Africa, Latin America, and Asia and trains and mobilizes U.S. grassroots leaders to be a voice for change in U.S. foreign policy debates that affect sexual and reproductive health and rights.
The Global Fund for Women is a global champion for the human rights of women and girls. We use our powerful networks to find, fund, and amplify the courageous work of women who are building social movements and challenging the status quo. We are committed to getting money and attention where it will make the biggest difference in the fight for gender equality. Since 1987, Global Fund for Women has invested in nearly 5,000 grassroots organizations in 175 countries, helping to win rights for millions of women and girls.
Founded in 1968, the Guttmacher Institute advances sexual and reproductive health worldwide through an interrelated program of social science research, policy analysis and public education. The Institute seeks to generate new ideas, encourage enlightened public debate, and promote sound policy and program development on issues ranging from abortion and family planning to sex education and HIV prevention. For more than four decades, Guttmacher has consistently demonstrated that scientific evidence - when reliably collected and analyzed, compellingly presented and systematically disseminated - can make a difference in policies, programs and medical practice.
